Wallbox N.V. has reached a critical milestone in its financial stabilization efforts by finalizing terms for a comprehensive restructuring plan with major creditors holding more than 83% of its €169.6 million financial debt. This agreement, building on prior announcements in December 2025 and March 2026, restructures existing obligations into longer-term instruments: a €57.6 million framework loan with amortization starting in Q3 2026, a €69.1 million PIK bullet maturing in 2030, and a €42.8 million working capital facility, all extending to December 31, 2030. These changes aim to lower the cost of capital, extend maturities, and align debt service with projected cash flows, providing essential liquidity for business execution. Complementing the debt refinancing, the plan includes €10.65 million in new equity from strategic shareholders—such as Orilla Asset Management, Iberdrola Group entities, and CEO Enric Asunción—and €5 million from the Generalitat de Catalunya, alongside up to €12.5 million in bank financing, half potentially backed by an export credit agency. Interim support of €11 million via bridge loans and bank advances bridges to full implementation. Subject to signing by April 8, 2026, Barcelona court sanctioning, and standard conditions, this restructuring establishes a sustainable capital structure, as emphasized by CEO Asunción, enabling focus on operational improvements in key EV charging markets.
