SEC filingNew Found Gold reports final 2025 drill results expanding the Dropkick Zone at Queensway, with high-grade intercepts extending mineralization over 1.4 km strike and 300 m depth.
New Found Gold Corp. announced final results from its 2025 drilling program at the Dropkick Zone on the Queensway Gold Project in Newfoundland. The results confirm significant expansion of the high-grade gold domain both west and east of the Appleton Fault Zone (AFZ). Key intercepts include 24.8 g/t Au over 14.0 m (NFGC-25-2686) and 13.4 g/t Au over 8.1 m (NFGC-25-2673) west of the AFZ, and 6.75 g/t Au over 18.35 m (NFGC-25-2518) east of the AFZ. The 2025 program comprised 11,919 m in 39 diamond drill holes, with the final 6,145 m in 20 holes reported here. Drilling has extended the high-grade domain from surface to a vertical depth of 285 m over an 85 m strike length, with mineralization intersected up to 300 m depth. Step-out drilling expanded the Dropkick fault zone from 815 m to over 1,400 m along strike. The zone remains open along strike and to depth. These results will be incorporated into an updated mineral resource estimate (MRE) planned for H2/26, as the 2024 and 2025 Dropkick drilling was not included in the initial MRE. The company's 2026 drill program is underway with four rigs, initially focusing on infill drilling for PEA Phase 2 open pit resource conversion, then transitioning to Phase 3 underground resource conversion. Exploration drilling will target AFZ Core resource expansion, continued step-outs at Dropkick, and regional targets at Queensway South. The company also plans to file an updated Technical Report in H2/26. The strong continuity and high grades at Dropkick underscore its potential to contribute to the project's resource base and future mine plan.
