SEC filingAmericas Gold and Silver Corporation announced its fourth major high-grade silver-copper-antimony discovery at the Galena Complex, identifying six new veins near existing infrastructure with intercepts up to 3,714 g/t Ag.
Americas Gold and Silver Corporation reported a significant exploration success at its Galena Complex in Idaho, announcing the discovery of the 43L-TJ Vein Complex. This represents the Company's fourth major discovery within a single year of aggressive drilling, highlighting the robust exploration potential of the asset. The discovery comprises six new high-grade silver-copper-antimony veins located in close proximity—approximately 25 meters—to existing mine infrastructure on the 4300 Level. This proximity is strategically important as it may facilitate rapid development and integration into future production plans, potentially enhancing ore feed quality and operational efficiency.
The drilling results confirm high-grade mineralization, with notable intercepts including 3,714 g/t silver over 0.5 meters (Hole 43-295), 2,563 g/t silver over 0.7 meters (Hole 43-310), and 1,392 g/t silver over 1.9 meters (Hole 43-357). The presence of significant copper and antimony by-products, such as 3.9% copper in Hole 43-295, adds further value to the discovery. Chairman and CEO Paul Andre Huet emphasized that the discovery trajectory mirrors that of the previously successful 034 Vein, which has already contributed to resource updates and is currently under development. The Company plans to accelerate evaluation through additional drilling and the development of an exploration drift to define structural controls and expand the known mineralization. This discovery reinforces the Galena Complex's status as a high-grade silver operation and a key source of U.S.-produced antimony.
