Critical Metals Corp. has achieved a pivotal milestone by closing the acquisition of the final 50.5% interest in Tanbreez Mining Greenland A/S, elevating its ownership to 92.5% through the issuance of 14,500,000 ordinary shares. This transaction grants the company near-total control over one of the world's largest known deposits of heavy rare earth elements, vital for defense, clean energy, and advanced technology sectors. Chairman Tony Sage emphasized that this positions Critical Metals to establish a critical Western-aligned supply chain, with full focus now on advancing Tanbreez to production. The site in Southern Greenland benefits from year-round shipping access via deep water fjords to the North Atlantic. Additionally, a non-binding letter of intent with European Lithium Ltd (ASX: EUR), which holds the remaining 7.5%, signals intent to consolidate 100% ownership, though no binding agreement is assured. This enhances the company's strategic portfolio, including the fully permitted Wolfsberg Lithium Project in Austria, reinforcing its role as a sustainable supplier of critical minerals for Western markets.
