With over 18 years at Silicon Labs as SVP of Worldwide Operations, Dr. Kumar offers deep expertise in managing manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality assurance, and customer relations across global teams. His prior experience at Agere, Lucent, and AT&T Bell Labs further bolsters his credentials in semiconductor product engineering and design. CEO Dr. Suresh Venkatesan highlighted Kumar's role in enhancing the manufacturing organization in Malaysia to achieve high-volume production, critical for POET's optical engines and light sources targeting AI networks and hyperscale data centers.
